1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, connecting a merchant payment account, or integrating the Lion UPI API into your website or mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Service Description & Direct Settlements

Lion UPI operates as an automated UPI routing, QR code rendering, and UTR transaction verification bridge. We are NOT a custodian of merchant funds. All customer payments pass directly through the unified UPI rail into the merchant's personal or business bank account.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

• Lawful Use: You may not use this gateway for illegal gambling, prohibited substances, counterfeit products, or deceptive business practices.
• Credential Confidentiality: You are strictly responsible for safeguarding your secret API keys (`X-API-Secret`) and access tokens.
• Bank Account Verification: Merchants must ensure their linked VPAs and UPI accounts remain valid and authorized under NPCI guidelines.

4. Platform Fees & Commission Policy

Platform subscription fees and per-transaction commission rates are billed transparently according to your selected plan. Applicable transaction commissions are automatically deducted from your prepaid merchant wallet upon transaction confirmation, with zero hidden aggregator surcharges or unexpected reserve holds.
